I know I have posted this before, but I just can't get enough of it. Please listen and may this beautiful description, from John Piper, of who Jesus is and what He has done, hit you with all the power that it truly has! I love these truths about when a person has their put their faith in Jesus. You are satisfied in Him and you delight in Him!

Emma's 4th
Our baby girl turned 4 on Thursday. As you will see, it was a great day! We are so thankful to God for Gavin and Emma! Its was a wonderful having the Fournier family come and share it with us. Auntie Chris and Auntie Reenie planned some great "poodle" games. The kids twisted and shouted for a while and then we finished up the party with some gluten-free chocolate cake. We also celebrated her day at the Friday night prayer meeting where the girls showered her with gifts. Emma made some big girl "promises" as she called them... "I'm not going to whine anymore and I'm not going to talk like a baby anymore because I'm not a baby. I'm four." She spent the rest of the day apologizing... "I'm sorry mama." "For what Emma?" "I talked like a baby. And I started to whine." It was pretty funny.

Pray for Jake
So, this is long overdo! I have told many of you about this, but I have never got around to posting on it. Most of you all know Jake Knotts. He's a great friend and I get to serve the Lord with him here in Chernigov. A few months ago he had some tests done. The tests showed that his kidneys are not working properly and that he could be in the beginning stages of kidney disease. Right now they are in California waiting to have more tests done by a kidney specialist. These tests are very important to see what steps will have to be taken in the future to fight whatever is attacking his kidneys. I want to ask that you would be praying for God to pour out his blessings on Jake, Anya and Maia. That the Lord would heal Jake of this condition completely and bring him and the family back home to us! ( Knotts famiy... We miss you and love you guys! ) Those of you that are wondering if there is any relation to Don knotts. Jake denies it, but I am pretty sure there is! They look too much alike!

Church Life
Here are just a few pics I took last week of some of our church services. We are going through Hebrews on Sundays and the Book of Jonah on Wednesday nights. We also hit the streets to invite children to our kids club we have at the church. Gavin and Emma were so excited to hand out flyer's to other kids and help hang posters at all the bus stops. We ended the time with pizza and games. They enjoyed that part too!

Pray for Reenie
I wanted to write and ask you all to pray for my sister Reenie. For quite a while she has been having really bad neck pain. This past week it has been very bad and I wanted to ask you to pray that the Lord would heal her. She has seen doctors here in Ukraine and in the states about it, but nothing has seemed to help. Please pray that God would heal her and encourage and strengthen her in this hard time. Thank you!
