Emma's Health

Please pray for Emma. On Sunday she developed a rash on her cheeks and wrists. Over the past few days it has progressed and is now on her legs, arms, cheeks, and back. We are in contact with a few different doctors who are monitoring her through photos over email. The rash falls into the "nonspecific" category. At this point we are trying to make her more comfortable and keeping her on a low protein, bland diet to eliminate any possible allergens. She has no other symptoms, only this annoying rash. Please pray for healing for Emma and for wisdom as we treat her.

Playing In The Dirt

I asked Gavin if he wanted to help me get the garden ready. I think we have different ideas about what " getting the garden ready" means...

He's Risen

Happy Easter! Yesterday was Easter here in Ukraine. We celebrated with a sunrise service at 5:30 in the morning. We met at our local park that over looks the river. We were just in time to watch the sun rise. It was a sweet time of prayer and worship, remembering and thanking God for sending His Son to die for our sins. So that we could find life in Him!

Look Who's Back!

The Knotts family got in Friday. It's wonderful to have them back! We didn't realize just how much we missed them! Maia has grown so much. As far as Jakes health, he's been diagnosed with kidney disease. He is feeling fine, but needs to find a kidney specialist here. Please keep Jake's health in your prayers. We are just blessed to have them back in Chernigov!

Papa Day

This past Saturday it was just the kids and I. We call them "Papa days". Gavin and Emma all voted for homemade pizza. So I thought we'd have a little fun with it. I need a little more practice, but I 'm pretty sure we could have the pizzeria ready for business soon. I might even go out for the team next year! Who knows where this could take me...

Enjoy

We caught Emma speaking "her Ukrainian" in the classroom today.
She's been hanging out with the babushka next door lately.

Voice it

Voice has started up again. Last night we had about 25 people come to our church for English club. It's a great way to meet and get to know people here in Chernigov. And ultimately of course to share with them how much God loves them and what Jesus has done for them. Right now we are watching episodes from the television series Lost. It has made for some great discussion times and good talks with people about the Lord. Many have seen it on TV here, but they really enjoying watching it in English.
(
Greg, thanks for the idea! )

Please be praying for those that are coming to Voice. That they would see their need for Jesus and come to Him.
