Emma's 4th

Our baby girl turned 4 on Thursday. As you will see, it was a great day! We are so thankful to God for Gavin and Emma! Its was a wonderful having the Fournier family come and share it with us. Auntie Chris and Auntie Reenie planned some great "poodle" games. The kids twisted and shouted for a while and then we finished up the party with some gluten-free chocolate cake. We also celebrated her day at the Friday night prayer meeting where the girls showered her with gifts. Emma made some big girl "promises" as she called them... "I'm not going to whine anymore and I'm not going to talk like a baby anymore because I'm not a baby. I'm four." She spent the rest of the day apologizing... "I'm sorry mama." "For what Emma?" "I talked like a baby. And I started to whine." It was pretty funny.

I can totally hear her saying, "I'm not a baby!" And Joshua promises to never again refer to Emma as "the baby". We can't wait to see you guys.

p.s. Please don't make us drink green coffee.

Looking forward to having you guys with us!
And if you don't want green coffee your going to have to bring your own! We still have a bunch left. It doesn't go very fast as you might imagine.

And yes, hooray for the gluten-free cake! It was the best one we have had. No one could tell it was made without flour.
